Justice & Witness

The churches and people of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ have a very long history of looking at the world and prayerfully working to make it a better place.

From the day in 1806 when five Williams College students felt a call to foreign mission to today, through our partnership with the Pentecostal Church of Chile and our efforts to aid victims of disaster around the world, the people of the Massachusetts Conference have always worked to reach out and share faith with those in other lands. And from the early days of the abolitionist movement to the struggle today for freedom of marriage for all, our churches have long been at the forefront of social justice issues.

In this section of the website, you will find information and resources related to the mission and social justice work that the Conference is most active in today.
